Slight color variation is a globally accepted standard in commercial printing production.
International printing standards such as ISO 12647 also recognize that printed colors may vary slightly between production batches due to factors like:
- material differences
- machine calibration
- environmental conditions
- ink consistency
A simple way to understand this is like cooking the same recipe multiple times — even when using the same ingredients, the final result may still look or taste slightly different depending on temperature, ingredients, and preparation conditions.
Printing works in a similar way.
Even when using:
- the same artwork
- the same machine
- the same specifications
small production differences may still affect the final printed color slightly.
This is more noticeable on:
- dark backgrounds
- large solid colors
- skin tones
- corporate brand colors
Because printing is a physical production process, exact 100% color matching across every production batch is not always possible.
Our team will always do our best to maintain the closest possible color consistency for every order.
If you have any concerns regarding your printed colors, our Customer Support team is always happy to review and assist. We highly value customer feedback and continuously work to improve our production quality and consistency.
