Why may physical samples look different from final production?

Physical samples are provided as reference materials to help customers understand:

  • material texture
  • surface finishing
  • print feel
  • general product appearance

However, samples may not represent the exact final mass production result.

This is because sample production and mass production may involve:

  • different machines
  • different production setups
  • different material batches
  • different finishing conditions
  • different production environments

As a result, slight differences may occur in:

  • color appearance
  • finishing texture
  • print density
  • cutting alignment
  • folding position
  • surface reflection

Because commercial printing involves physical materials and industrial production processes, minor variation between samples and final production is considered normal production tolerance and is not regarded as a production defect.
